ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Customer Experience Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for every visitor to Bradford Live. Working across Front of House, Bar & F&B Service and Box Office operations, you will provide excellent customer service, create a welcoming environment, and help ensure events, conferences, banquets and live performances run safely and efficiently.

General Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences at all times.
  • Follow all health and safety, safeguarding and security procedures.
  • Represent Bradford Live in a professional and positive manner.
  • Undertake any reasonable duties required to support the successful operation of the venue.

Front of House

  • Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
  • Check tickets, direct customers and assist with seating.
  • Support crowd management and venue safety procedures.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues where possible.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout public areas.

Box Office

  • Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for all visitors.
  • Use the Tixly ticketing system to process bookings accurately and maintain customer records.
  • Ensure all customer information is handled in accordance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
  • Support the Duty Manager in resolving ticketing and seating issues during event operations.
  • Accurately book accessible seating and accommodate customers' individual access requirements.
  • Assist customers with joining Bradford Live's Access Membership Scheme and accessing Essential Companion ticket benefits.

Bar and Food & Beverage Service

  • Provide an efficient food & beverage service, taking orders with a keen awareness of allergens and dietary requirements and process payment using POS systems
  • Assist with stock replenishment throughout shifts
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and FOH colleagues to provide a seamless service
  • Promote special offers and upselling opportunities to maximise revenue
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all F&B areas, including back-of-house areas
  • Handle customer queries, requests and complaints professionally, escalating when required
  • Adhere to Health and Safety, Food Safety and Fire Safety procedures
  • Follow licensing laws, food safety requirements and Challenge 25 procedures.

ABOUT YOU

You will demonstrate a positive and approachable attitude, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will have the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment and come with a flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and public holidays.

You will be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, retail or entertainment venues is desirable but not essential.
You’ll be enthusiastic, energetic, proactive, and team-focussed with a keen eye for secondary sales and health & safety.
