Role Overview

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Building Safety Team Administrator to join our Property Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of building safety and fire safety compliance across our housing portfolio.

You'll provide comprehensive administrative support to the Building Safety Team, ensuring essential compliance processes are completed accurately and on time. Working closely with surveyors, contractors, residents and internal stakeholders, you'll help maintain critical compliance records, support contract administration and contribute to keeping our residents safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Building Safety Team, ensuring compliance service standards are met or exceeded.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records across a range of systems, including SharePoint and compliance management platforms.
  • Monitor, chase and process compliance-related documentation and information.
  • Support the management of building safety information, including the Golden Thread and associated compliance records.
  • Upload, validate and quality-check compliance documentation and survey reports.
  • Manage team inboxes and respond promptly to enquiries from colleagues, contractors and residents.
  • Prepare meeting packs, take minutes and support follow-up actions.
  • Support Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) administration and remedial works programmes.
  • Assist with the administration of NEC4 contracts and performance monitoring activities.
  • Carry out telephone audits and validation checks to ensure compliance information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential compliance risks and non-compliant activities

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within property, housing, compliance or a related environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

This role will be offered as a secondment for existing Anchor colleagues and as a fixed-term contract for external candidates.
