Department:

Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.
Yorkshire Water - WWSA provides essential wastewater services to millions of customers and businesses across Yorkshire. From managing sewerage networks to treating wastewater, protecting the environment, and maintaining reservoirs and catchments.

Purpose of the role:

We are currently recruiting for Lining Operative to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Sapphire Utility Solutions working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.

About the role:

• Location: Bradford
• Role type: Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week
• Salary: £14-£16 per hour dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually runs a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
• Use of sewer repair techniques using industry recognised equipment (Lining drums, cutting equipment, compressors)
• Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
• Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
• Risk assessments and updating work packs
• The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend

Key Requirements:

Skills and experience:

• Full UK Driving License

Desirable:

• To be flexible in their working approach as on occasion may need to work overtime such as at weekends
• Ability to work in all weathers
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential)
• Competent in the use of iPads/Tablets
